Client Success Story:
Coorstek Piezo. Coorstek Piezo Ignitor Division needed to display their product line of home furnace ignitors at an industry trade show. Division manager Brian Lusignan, Senior Marketing and Technology Engineer, contacted Image 4 with an idea for a display case.
After a concept meeting, Image 4 industrial designers created a base unit for the displays. The cover was fabricated of tempered glass, and a laminar air flow ventilation system was set up to vent the 600-degree heat from the ignitors. The ignitors were mounted to beautifully designed stainless steel supports to create a professional presentation.
We designed a solid-state, USB-programmable logic board that allowed control of the sequence, duration, dwell and cool-down of the ignitors. Ignitors can be fired in a variety of sequences, with customizable duration to show the technical capabilities of the product.
Visitor response to the products and the exhibit was excellent, with our client commenting “the ignitor display was the hit of our show. We had company engineers and customers lined up to watch how the display worked. It really improved our show traffic.”
