A Tasty Design and Smooth Project is a Treat for Lindt Chocolate
Project Overview
Lindt Chocolate’s expansion in the US market required an expansion of the headquarters. Image 4 was contracted to modify and mix existing Brand assets to create large-scale graphics for the lobby, offices and common areas.
Lindt is particular about color and texture presentation, and our graphics production team worked diligently to deliver just the right hues and sharpness of the flowing chocolate mixture. Image 4’s design and art team created a glistening, twinkling wall covering treatment combined with oil-rubbed gold metal accents and rich, hand dyed chocolatey-walnut brand panels.
Image 4’s sign team chose French Walnut slab, custom-mixed a stain finish to complement the color of dark chocolate, and hand-rubbed the sign plaques on which water-jet cut solid bronze letters were mounted. We installed the LEED-rated Monadnock Envi® wallcovering and float-mounted reverse-printed acrylic graphics.
Sign panels indicating departments and common spaces were suspended through the building, again on bronze hardware. The end result was a series of spaces that unfolded and present like the rich treats produced in the adjacent chocolate factory.
