Exhibition Display and Promotion

We support our museums in the exhibition, interpretation and display of collections.

We work directly with curatorial and management staff within institutions, and we support professional museum design firms to design, produce and install interpretive materials - indoors and outdoors. From a small series of 8 x 10" prints to a complete 30,000 square foot installation, Image 4 has the experience and processes to aid you in mounting your exhibit - on time and within budget.

RFQ and Bids

Image 4 senior management is pleased to respond to specific project information. Please detail your project in the RFQ, including timeline, facility information (indoor or ourdoors!), installation considerations, scope of project management, and a detailed list of deliverables. We come to the table with our particular "tool box" of materials, processes, experience, awareness of what has worked and what has not. We're happy to help!

Materials Selection

Image 4 continually keeps abreast of printing and mounting materials, signage, legal issues, ADA requirements, etc for our commercial clients. Many of these "best practices" are applicable to the museum and interpretive facility environment. We know the performance qualities of the products we sell, we are happy to research alternative solutions as part of a project, and we can assist in the selection of materials that will reflect best upon your project - for budget, durability, quality and presentation.

Project Management and Support

As part of every major exhibit order, Image 4 will assign a project manager to work with your team. We apply our process management methods in your behalf - spreadsheeting your originals, time-charting projects and sub-projects, and detailing our fulfillment of deliverables. We take your calls in a calm fashion, leading you through our mutually agreed-upon expectations. We help you keep your cool and perspective, so your project can launch as easily as possible. We've been there!

Installation and Support

Image 4 will deploy our field installation experts to support you when needed. Our rates are reasonable, and our teams are professional and creative problem-solvers. Each team has a senior Image 4 employee, and may consist of several experienced employee or contract installers with whom we have worked before. We are accustomed to working in the "eye of the public". We use gloves and smocks where appropriate, we don't smoke or eat in exhibit areas, we take care to keep areas as clean as possible. We understand that our installation service must reflect well upon your institution.

Our capabilities include applying wallpaper graphics, installing labels and accession tags, mounting murals, hanging banners, suspending mobiles, glueing and fastening objects and graphics, pouring concrete, adjusting stonewalls, cleaning, polishing and vacuuming! And, we do windows and cases when needed!
